Originally from New York, studied East Asian Studies as an undergraduate at Harvard. Later he earned a master’s degree in urban planning from the Harvard GSD and a master’s degree in logistical engineering from MIT,and has worked in the above fields. His primary research interest is the study of Chinese architecture, and experimentation in planning and logistics in the modern period.
