设计学院关于推选2020年上海交通大学“青春足迹”留学生风采人物人选的通知
Selection Notification of International Student Characters of "Youth Footprint" in Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 2020
为配合我校推荐教育部2020年“优秀来华留学生”人选工作，进一步展示来华留学生风采，根据《2020年上海交通大学“青春足迹”留学生风采人物征集通知》，现将评选活动的有关事项通知如下。
In order to cooperate with the recommendation of the Ministry of Education for the candidate of "Outstanding International Students in China" in 2020, our university has decided to hold “International Student Characters of ‘Youth Footprint’ in SJTU 2020” selection activity. The relevant matters of the selection are informed as follows.
一、评选对象和程序
1.参评人必须为具有正式学籍的全日制学位留学生。
2.参评人首先向所在学院提出申请，经学院同意推荐后，由学院推荐至留学生服务中心。
3.经学校评选后，获评学生事迹材料将会择优在上海交通大学新闻网主页及“留学交大”主页等学校官方媒体上以系列推送的形式进行展示分享。
1、 Eligibility and Procedures
a) The participants must be full-time International Students with formal status of Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
b) The participants should apply to the school at first. After being approved by the school, participants will be recommended by the school to the International Student Service Center for formal evaluation.
c) After being finally selected by the university, the selected students' story materials will be showed as series in the official media of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, such as the homepage of Shanghai Jiao Tong University and the homepage of Study@SJTU.
二、评选标准
1.遵纪守法，无受校纪校规处分等各类不适合参评本项荣誉的负面情况，遵守评选活动规则；
2.知华友华，对中国文化有深入理解；具备一定的中文水平；
3.参评学生须在学习、科研、社会实践、志愿服务、文体等某一方面或多方面表现突出。
2、 Selection Criteria
a) Abide by the law and discipline, without being punished by the school rules and regulations and other negative situations that are not suitable for the evaluation of this honor, and abide by the rules of the selection;
b) Friendly attitude towards China, and have a deep understanding of Chinese culture; Have a certain level of Chinese.
c) Outstanding performance in one of the aspects which include learning, scientific research, social practice, voluntary service, literature, sports and so on.
三、申请材料
1.《2020年上海交通大学“青春足迹”留学生风采人物征集报名表》（见附件1）；
2.个人简历一份，自高中阶段开始，中英文均可；
3.《我的来华故事》一篇，字数不少于 800 字，内容包含来华学习的初衷，在华学习生活期间记忆深刻的经历和体会（需要有具体案例），以及对留学交大的总结和感悟，写作语言建议为中文；
4.《2020年上海交通大学“青春足迹”留学生风采人物推荐汇总表》（见附件2）；
5.其他材料：相关获奖证明、活动证明，科研学术成果以及其他相关证明材料。
3、 Application Materials
a) Application form of International Student Characters of ‘Youth Footprint’ in SJTU 2020 (Appendix 1);
b) A resume, in English or Chinese, since the high school;
c) Essay entitled “My story of studying in China” with no less than 800 words. Content should include the original intention of studying in China, memorable experiences or feelings, and the summary or perception during the study life in SJTU（specific cases are required）.Written language could be English or Chinese. The writing language is suggested as Chinese.
d) Summary Sheet of Application of International Student Characters of ‘Youth Footprint’ in SJTU 2020 (Appendix 2)
e） Other materials: relevant award certificates, activity certificates, and other relevant supporting materials.
四、报名方式及要求
申请人提交电子版报名材料于2020年11月13日12:00前发送至邮箱：cheyiying@sjtu.edu.cn
4、 Application Methods and Requirements
The applicant should submit electronic application materials to the e-mail: cheyiying@sjtu.edu.cn before 12:00 November 13, 2020.
五、荣誉及奖励形式
根据评选工作计划，11月下旬，学校组织开展评审工作。获评同学将获得学校为每位获奖者颁发的荣誉证书和纪念品。
5、 Selection Process and Schedule
According to the evaluation plan, in late November, the school will organize the evaluation, and the evaluation committee will give the selected list according to the students' materials and comprehensive performance.
The selected students will receive the certificate of honor and souvenirs issued by the University.
