赵超教授专注于跨学科和跨文化的设计研究与创新实践，通过设计创新整合文化、技术、美学、商业等要素，实现设计的社会属性、人性化体验、以及可持续发展。近年来他主要从事健康医疗产品与服务设计创新、用户体验研究、人本设计创新方法等领域的研究。

Professor ZHAO focuses on multi-disciplinary, multi-cultural design research and innovative practice, aiming to achieve the humanistic care and sustainability through combining culture, technology, aesthetics, industry elements. In recent years he has been contributing to health care product and service design, user experience research, humanistic design innovation and other related domains.

Holly W. Samuelson

哈佛大学设计研究生院建筑学系副教授

Associate Professor of Architecture, Harvard Graduate School of Design

Samuelson教授主要研究建筑设计与人和环境健康之间的关系。她主持的项目利用先进的建筑物模拟技术勘测能源利用效率、热量流失、室内环境质量、湿度和霉变程度。加入哈佛大学之前，她是职业建筑师与可持续发展设计咨询师，并且乐于建立学术与建筑行业的桥梁。

Professor Samuelson’s teaching and research focus on issues of building design that impact human and environmental health. Her current projects harness advanced building simulation to investigate issues of energy efficiency, heat vulnerability, indoor environmental quality, moisture, and mold. Prior to joining Harvard, she practiced full-time as an architect and sustainable design consultant, and she prioritizes forging links between academia and the building industry.

华颖教授具有建筑学、建筑科学和行为学的多学科学术背景。她的研究重点为入住后评估方法（POE）；工作场所概念的影响及其行为性、组织性策略；住户、建筑系统与建筑表现的影响之间的相互作用。她的研究方向旨在为建筑环境的设计，交付，运营，管理和重新设计以及建筑部门的决策提供帮助和指导，以提高建筑环境的质量，居住者的健康，以促进实现经济发展的目标并减轻建筑行业对气候变化的影响。

HUA Ying came from a background of architecture, building science and behavioral science. She has been conducting research on methodology for post-occupancy evaluation (POE); impact of a variety of workplace concepts and strategies on behavioral and organizational outcomes; and the interaction between occupants and building systems and resulted influence on building performance. It is her goal to inform the design, delivery, operation, management and re-engineering of built environments and building sector policy-making to enhance the quality of built environments, support health and performance of their occupants, and facilitate the delivery of business goals; and to mitigate the building sector's impact on global climate change.

Stacy Benjamin在工程设计流程、创新型策略和项目管理方面的专业水平，得益于在IDEO公司和独立创新型咨询行业十年的从业经验。她践行“从做中学”的教育理念并致力于推动课堂中的项目体验趋于行业实际体验。她也建设了西格尔设计研究所的合作伙伴关系网，尤其是和芝加哥大区不同行业公司的专业人才。通过合作伙伴与学生设计评审、专家讲座、项目协助等互动形式，她让学生们认识到工程设计在实际中的运用，并提供了让他们建立自己的事业网络的机会。

Stacy Benjamin is an expert in engineering design process, innovation strategies, and project management, resulting from 10 years of industry experience at IDEO and independent innovation consulting. Benjamin strongly believes in learning-by-doing, and she works to structure class project experiences as close to industry experiences as possible. She encourages students to think critically throughout the design process. Benjamin has also been building a network of Segal Affiliates, specialists in industry from a range of companies in the Chicagoland area. The affiliates interact with students through design reviews, guest lectures, project support, and more. This gives students another window on how engineering is applied in the real world and a chance to begin building their own networks.
