The Innovative Design Forum of Shanghai Jiao Tong University
2024 Climate Change and Adaptive Design Forum
In the face of the major threat posed by global climate change to human society and the natural environment, the School of Design at Shanghai Jiao Tong University will hold an international academic forum on November 23, 2024, focusing on "Climate Change and Adaptive Design". The aim is to gather global wisdom,collaborate on sustainable development solutions for human settlements, and delve into design innovation and future planning and design paths in the context of climate change. This forum will adopt a combination of online and offline methods to build a cross-disciplinary communication platform, covering topics such as innovation in risk assessment methods, adaptive planning and design, as well as the impact of climate change on human health and coping strategies.
