School of Design is committed to recruiting diverse, excellent, and dedicated faculty, post-docs, and other scholars. We invite you to apply to the following openings. 

General recruitment will be conducted during the International Young Scholars Forum at Shanghai Jiao Tong University expected to be held in mid December.  The precise time will be announced afterwards. 

Research directions are grouped under the School’s three disciplines, namely Design, Architecture, and Landscape Architecture. The directions (though not exclusive) are:

Tenure-track Associate Professor

1. A Ph.D degree in relevant fields or related disciplines from first-class universities worldwide with more than three years of relevant work experience.

2. A demonstrated significant depth and breadth of specialized knowledge of subject matter to contribute to research programmes, having achieved outstanding scientific research results, or demonstrated potential for academic development.

Tenure-track Assistant Professor

1.Ph.D. or Ph.D. candidates close to completion, from first-class universities worldwide.

2.40 years old or younger.

3.With recognized academic accomplishments in relevant fields or related disciplines.
