Aesthetic Really Matters! School of Design Held an International Student Event

On the afternoon of November 30th, School of Design successfully held an international student event with the theme of aesthetic education at Cheng Ji Art Museum. Although it was cold and windy, the enthusiasm of the students for interacting and communicating remained undiminished. The event not only attracted students from the School of Design and the School of Humanities, but also international students from the School of Media and Communication, Antai College of Economics and Management, School of Electronic Information and Electrical Engineering, and School of Materials Science and Engineering and more. They together experienced a journey of aesthetic education and cross-cultural interaction.

​The students visited the Aesthetic Education Exhibition hosted at Cheng Ji. Wang Dan, the curator of the exhibition and lecturer of the School of Design guided and explained the traditional Chinese culture and essence in the exhibition. These brought a strong visual impact to all students and help them understand the history and achievements of Jiao Tong University in aesthetic education and campus art atmosphere creation for more than 40 years.
