​4 SJTU Teachers Won China’s Top Architectural Design Award

The Architectural Design Award of the Architectural Society of China (ASC) is one of the highest awards in the field of architectural design in China. It was established under the approval of the National Center of Standards Evaluation and held by the ASC. The Award, which is given every two years, aims to encourage the innovative spirit of architectural scientists in China and to commend architects, engineers and educators who have made outstanding achievements in the field of architecture practice.

Recently ASC announced the winners of the 2020 Architectural Design Award, among which are four faculty members (Zhang Hai’ao, Fan Wenbing , Zhuang Shen and Du Chunyu) from the Department of Architecture, . Their projects are integrated results of academic exploration and design practice, addressing a number of challenges in the era of high-quality architectural design.
