A Briefing on 2021 International Graduate Admission 

Online Meeting Was Held Successfully

Three international master’s program in Architecture (M. Arch), Mechanical Engineering (Industrial Design Engineering, IIDE), Landscape Architecture (M.LA.), from School of Design will be officially launched in 2021. Online application of these Graduate Program has already been open and will last till May 31^st, 2021.

On 24^th November night, a briefing on 2021 International Graduate Admission Meeting through ZOOM online was carried out. The international graduate programs by School of Design will be running at taken at Xuhui campus, to provide students with a unique learning experience enriched in an atmosphere imbued with humanity and design aesthetics in downtown Shanghai.

“It enrich my vision and knowledge about design through enterprise visiting and discussion with excellent designers at home and abroad. It brings me to break through the constraints of traditional design thinking on the basis of a lot of background research, and case studies, and undertake my further study with more curiosity.” CUI Shaocong, a current first year graduate student from IIDE Program shared his experience in studying at School of Design. 

Before the sub-session of Schools, Shanghai Jiao Tong University introduced the University’s history, disciplinary development, the scale of international admissions and online application briefly. Next, three senior international students from Denmark, Germany and Cameroon shared their living and studying experience on campus, hoping to help newly-enrolled students and applicants better adapt to life in China, and eventually enjoy a meaningful time in SJTU.

According to this year’s international enrollment arrangement by the Graduate School, M.Arch., IIDE and M.LA. 2021 application opens from 1^st October and could be applied through the online system until 31^st May 2021. Deadline for scholarship admissions is 31^st March, 2021.
