Walking Through The Waldorf-Astoria Hotel on the Bund

Suzhou Creek, Site of the First Foreign Settlement

The previous day the professors toured sites in Shanghai, including the Bund, Lujiazui, and the Yuyuan gardens. Some remarked that pedestrian overpasses such as those found in Lujiazui, did not commonly exist in India. That night professor of architecture Wang Lin brought the guests to see the renovation of the Waldorf-Astoria hotel, and to a rooftop bar overlooking the Bund.
