Kailun holds a Master of Architecture degree from Yale University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Architecture from the University of Virginia. And after graduation, she worked at Neri & Hu Design and Research Office and Isozaki + Huqian Partners. Representative working experience including the Sulwhasoo Flagship Store in Seoul, Datong Grand Theatre in Shanxi Province, and FLIPPOP Art Space, M50 Bird Water Tower. She was invited to lecture on "Politics/Art and Media" in the Spring Seminar Series at Hongkong University Shanghai Center and is currently a teaching fellow in the Department of Architecture at Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
