Chiming Lin
Chiming Lin received his Bachelor of Science degree in Interior Design at Chung Yuan University in Taiwan. He then received his Master of Fine Arts degree in architectural lighting design at Parsons School of Design in New York City. Mr. Lin is President of bpi a member of the Illuminating Engineering Society of North America, the council member of China Illuminating Engineering Society, registered 1st class senior lighting designer in China and registered interior designer in Taiwan. He is also a lighting instructor at several universities / institutions since 1996.

​Mr. Lin worked for several lighting design firms in New York City, including Brandston Partnership Inc. Mr. Lin was promoted to the firm’s President in 2018.


He had worked on numerous projects in various types such as mixed-use, high-rise tower, museum, transportation, retail and hospitality.   Well-known projects include Palace Museum in Taipei, Formosa MRT station in Kaohsiung, Raffles City in Chongqing, Shanghai Tower in Shanghai, Summer Palace in Beijing, New CBD Iconic Tower in Cairo and Rolex Tower in Dubai.


He is also a lighting instructor at several universities / institutions since 1996, including Lighting Instructor, ITRI, Interior Deisgn and Lighting Instructor, Chung yuan Christain University Department of Interior Design, Lighting Instructor, National Yunlin University of Technology and Science Department of Architecture and Interior Design, Lighting Instructor, Chinese Culture University, Lighting Instructor, TsingHua University, Lighting Instructor, Fudan University.
