Wang Jin, obtained Ph.D. in environmental engineering. Certified Environment Protection Engineer. Now he is an associate professor in the Department of Landscape Architecture, School of Design, Shanghai Jiao Tong University. His research area focuses on: Energy saving, emission reduction and carbon reduction water treatment technology wastewater treatment technology, water ecological restoration and planning, landscape ecological planning and design, sponge city research, etc.
He had once presided and participated a National Natural Fund of China, presided 2 provincial and ministerial projects, 2 national key research and development projects and 2 international cooperation projects. Currently, he is presided over 2 horizontal projects. Published about 20 SCI papers as the first author and/or corresponding author (including co-corresponding author), 9 national invention patents as the first inventor were authorized, and some others national invention patents are still under review.
The scheme "A new process to realize carbon neutralization of municipal sewage treatment plants with aerobic granular sludge technology as the core" won the "2022 First Carbon Neutralization Technology Scheme and UNIDO Global Call 2022 China Technology Reserve Excellence Project Award".
