Doctor Chen gother Ph.D. from University of Florida in 2013, majoring in landscapeArchitecture. She has studied in Beijing Forestry University and TongjiUniversity successively. In 2014, she started her academic and education workas a lecturer in the School of Agriculture and Biology, Shanghai Jiao TongUniversity, and since 2017, she continues her work in the Department ofLandscape Architecture, School of Design, Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Shehas been engaged in education, research and practice in landscape architectureplanning and design, history and theory. She has won 4 international landscapearchitecture design awards, published more than 10 papers, and 1 book.
