分享关于交大、设计、人生的故事...

On the occasion of the 130th anniversary of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, the School of Design invites 13 alumni to share their stories about campus, about design, and about their life, and about meeting the needs of our time.

13位校友，从交大设计出发，在不同行业、城市、文化中，以多元方式深度参与并构建“人—居所—生活方式”的和谐共生关系，在跨文化学习、跨领域协作中锻造设计思维与国际视野，成为既能执笔绘就诗意空间、又能统筹复杂系统工程的大设计师与治理英才。

当这些故事交汇，呈现出的并非某种单一结论，而是一幅智慧、永续、共情的未来人居图景。

These 13 alumni, having embarked from the Shanghai Jiao Tong School of Design, are now shaping a harmonious communion of "humanity, dwellings, and lifestyle" across diverse industries, cities, and cultures. Through cross-cultural scholarship and interdisciplinary collaboration, they have honed a design mindset and global vision. They have evolved into visionary leaders and experts capable of drafting poetic space and orchestrating complex systemic projects.

As these stories intersect, they do not offer a single conclusion, but rather unveil a panoramic vision of a future habitat defined by wisdom, sustainability, and compassion.

在这里，「设计」没有标准答案。

Here, 「DESIGN」 admits no single right answer.

它既需要具备创造的敏锐度，也离不开反复雕琢的耐心；既要求极致的专注，也呼唤边界的突破。它既关乎问题的本质逻辑，也关乎对用户体验的理解；既关乎方法，也关乎人居环境间的关联。究其根本，设计是一种连接：连接技术与人文，连接理性与情感，连接个体与更为广阔的世界。

It demands both the acuity of creation and the patience to refine. It requires absolute focus while simultaneously calling for the breaking of boundaries. It is concerned with the essential logic of problems as much as with the understanding of user experience. It is a matter of methodology, yet also of the intricate connections within human habitats. At its core, design is an act of connection: bridging technology and the humanities, reason and emotion, the individual and the vast world beyond.

自此，各自的人生就此展开......

And so, their individual journeys began to unfold...

有人投身产业前沿，参与产品与系统的搭建；有人深耕城市景观，重塑人与居所的对话；有人在设计咨询与品牌体系里，开创全新的表达方式；也有人潜心教育与研究，不断拓展设计的边界。这些实践看似大相径庭，实则都指向人居世界的不同维度——从一件产品的使用感受，到一座城市的空间布局，再到文化与生活方式的塑造。

「设计」，并非仅仅是创造形态，更是实现人民对美好生活追求的全维度品质提升。

Some ventured into the industrial frontier, building products and systems; others cultivated the urban landscape, reframing the dialogue between human and their dwellings. Some pioneered new modes of expression within design consultancy and branding, while others devoted themselves to education and research, constantly pushing the boundaries of the discipline. While these practices may seem vastly different, they all converge on different dimensions of the human habitat—ranging from the tactile experience of a single product to the spatial layout of a metropolis, and ultimately, to the shaping of culture and lifestyle.

Design is not merely about creating forms; it is about elevating the quality of life in every dimension, and realizing people's pursuit of a better life.

当视野被拉长，「设计」不再只是专业，而逐渐成为一种能力——理解复杂问题的能力，在不确定中做出判断的能力，在变化中持续前行的能力。

When viewed through a wider lens, design transcends the mere limits of a profession; it evolves into a fundamental capability—the ability to comprehend complex problems, to make judgments amidst uncertainty, and to move forward continuously amidst change.
