SJTU-UoM Joint Workshop: Design a Healthier Living
活动背景 Background
从技术、环境、社会和经济的整体角度追求和实现更健康、更幸福的生活，引起了全世界的高度关注，特别是在新冠疫情之后和生活与工作、娱乐相互交织的背景下。如果以健康和福祉为中心，好的设计能够为技术、社会、经济和环境等多个方面作出贡献。本次研讨会由上海交通大学和墨尔本大学联合举办，来自建筑环境学科的研究人员将批判性地反思、讨论和阐明好的设计在促进健康生活中的作用。会议旨在两个机构之间分享研究和专业知识，增进对两国现行做法的相互了解，确定各自的优势和互补性，提供知识交流和同行讨论的平台，并为进一步的研究合作奠定基础。
Pursuing and enabling a healthier and happier living from a holistic technology, environment, social, and economic perspective has attracted great attention worldwide, especially after COVID and when live-work-play has become permeable with each other. Good design, in a border physical, social, economic and environmental sense, could contribute to all these dimensions if centers on health and wellbeing. This hybrid workshop, co-organised by the University of Melbourne and Shanghai Jiao Tong University, will bring researchers from across the built environment disciplines to critically reflect, debate and articulate the roles played by good design in promoting a healthier living. It intends to share research and expertise between the two institutions; enhance mutual understanding of the current practice in the two countries and identify respective strength and complementariness; provide the platform for knowledge exchange and peer discussions; and identify venues for further research collaborations.
